GUIDELINES
Introduction
The First Buenos Aires International Kinky Film Festival has an unmistakable purpose: to give visibility and celebrate a culture that has historically been marginalized and stigmatized. This festival is not simply a cinematic event but a space for meeting, exploration, and artistic
expression for those who live and create within the kink spectrum.
Our mission is to challenge and dismantle the prejudices that often surround kinky and BDSM practices by presenting authentic, diverse stories that capture the multiple dimensions of this culture. Each film selected for the festival will provide a window into the realities and experiences of people within the community, offering perspectives that are rarely represented in mainstream cinema.
Venue and Date of event
The First Kinky and BDSM International Film Festival of Argentina will take place in the city of Buenos Aires in May 2025.
Eligibility Requirements
Submissions are open to feature films and short films from around the world, no genre restrictions.
Only works completed after January 1, 2022, will be accepted.
Submitted films should not be freely available on web platforms (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.).
Films must be in their original language. If the original language is not Spanish, they must include subtitles in Spanish, Portuguese, or English.
The Festival will prioritize productions in Spanish, either as the original language or with Spanish subtitles.
Productions with closed captions for the deaf and hard of hearing will be especially valued.
The selection of works will consider their relevance to the festival's themes. For this reason, it is recommended that submissions include relevant information about the work in the "Statement of Intent" section of the application form, particularly if it clarifies the plot or context.

The festival will include two main sections:
- International Short Film Competition
